WOW ... WHAT A WEEKEND!

What a weekend! A premiership reunion, nail biting finishes, games under lights and the games that just got away.

The 1st Grade Men had a hard fought win against Eastlake, who at the start of the season were the benchmark of the competition. Our boys were quick of the mark and didn’t let their intensity lapse, leading at each change and most importantly as the

final siren sounded.

The 1st Grade Women's team had another good win after a slow start. They kicked into gear after half time and were very strong in the final quarter

keeping Eastlake scoreless.

After a bye last week, the 2nd Grade Women and Rising Stars Women were back and recognised Pride Round and it was their turn to rock the rainbow socks. Both teams had solid wins with fantastic final quarters.

It was a case of almost for both the 2nd Grade Men and Rising Stars Men. The 2nd Grade Men put up an amazing fight going down by only 15 points. A marked improvement on the result the last time the teams met. The Rising Stars Men led all match but unfortunately, inaccurate kicking was the difference at the end of the game. Both teams will be up and about next week when they take on Queanbeyan.
